Wienerschnitzel will be giving out 5,000 FREE chili dogs to Southern California Residents during the Wienerschnitzel’s Wiener Wagon Tour July 1-31, 2011.
"In celebration of Wienerschnitzel’s 50th anniversary and National Hot Dog Month, the world’s largest hot dog chain announced the kick-off of “Chili Dog Days of Summer” tour! Wienerschnitzel is sending its signature food truck, the Wiener Wagon, across Southern California on a quest to give away 5,000 free chili dogs during the month of July.
Throughout this July tour, the Wiener Wagon will make 20 stops to hand out 250 free chili dogs at each location – once chili dog #250 is given away, the Wiener Wagon will split! While each location will be somewhat spontaneous, Wienerschnitzel social media followers will get up-to-the-minute details on the Wiener Wagon’s whereabouts.
Fans should keep their eyes open for the Wiener Wagon in cities including, but not limited to, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Santa Monica, San Diego, Huntington Beach, Anaheim, and Newport Beach. Appearances will take place at beaches, shopping centers, ballparks and Southern California Universities.
